I'm using it with a GTX 1050ti and it's working pretty well for HD content. It does require a relatively recent GPU, through. Mark's opinion about DaVinci Resolve is a good one, it's a fantastic editor and if you're willing to spend an hour watching their introductory training video you should be able to do everything you want. I haven't used Premiere Elements in a LOOONNNGGG time, but I remember that it was not as intuitive or as easy as people had made it out to be. Run the file through Topaz, add to Elements and edit and then output as TV HDĢ. I am unsure how best to process to avoid double "enhancing/scaling":ġ. both options allow mp4 files so these can be viewed on my TV. My concern is that when outputting, Elements has the option for TV output (4K or HD) or computer (4k/HD/SD). I'm wondering what is the best approach as I want to view these from a SSD drive connected to my TV. I've tried a sample mp4 and I'm getting acceptable results so this is a step I would like to keep. I want to use Topaz to upscale from SD to HD. Once edited the output format options are for PC or TV.Ģ. I want to put them into Premiere Elements to edit them. I'm having some old home video VHS tapes converted by someone else into mp4 format and I have 2 objectives once I receive them:ġ.
